Water doesn't attack every surface the same way. A flat roof, a bathroom floor, a water tank and a basement wall each face different pressure, movement and exposure — and each has a waterproofing system built for exactly that, not a one-size-fits-all coating.

FOUR WATERPROOFING METHODS
Which one's right depends on the surface, how much it moves, and whether water is sitting on it or under constant pressure.
Bituminous Membrane
Torch-applied or self-adhesive bitumen sheets, reinforced with polyester or fibreglass and laid in overlapping layers to form a continuous barrier. The standard choice for flat roofs and podium decks, where large horizontal areas need a proven, weather-resistant membrane.
Liquid Applied Membrane (e.g. Dr. Fixit)
Polyurethane or acrylic coatings rolled or sprayed on, curing into a seamless, flexible membrane. Handles pipe penetrations, corners and awkward detailing far better than a sheet membrane — the standard for bathrooms, balconies and terraces.
GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) Lining
Fibreglass matting saturated with resin and laminated on-site into a rigid, fully bonded lining. Built for constant water contact and pressure — the specification for water tanks, swimming pools and lift pits, not just occasional damp.
Cementitious Waterproofing
A cement-based coating that bonds directly into the concrete, often used on the inside of potable water tanks since it cures safe for drinking-water contact. Rigid and durable, best on surfaces that aren't expected to move much.
