HEAVY-DUTY RESIN SYSTEMS
PU (POLYURETHANE) FLOORING
BUILT FOR THERMAL SHOCK.
Polyurethane flooring is more flexible than epoxy and handles the conditions epoxy can't: steam-cleaning, constant temperature swings, freezers and heavy point loads. It's the standard specification anywhere a floor gets washed down daily with hot water or lives next to a blast chiller.
PU systems also flex with the slab instead of fighting it — which means fewer hairline cracks over years of thermal cycling than a rigid epoxy build in the same environment.
- Withstands thermal shock — steam-cleaning, cold stores
- More flexible than epoxy, resists micro-cracking
- Food-safe finishes, HACCP-compliant systems available
- Handles heavy point loads and constant foot traffic
SPECIFIC PU SYSTEMS
WHERE IT GOES
If your floor doesn't face heat, steam or freezing, standard epoxy flooring is usually the more cost-effective choice.
Commercial Kitchens & F&B
Food-safe, steam-cleanable finishes built for daily hot-water washdown.
Cold Storage & Freezers
Stays flexible and intact through repeated freeze-thaw cycling.
Heavy Industrial & Manufacturing
Absorbs impact and point loads that would crack a rigid system.
